An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time permanent position, for an experienced Senior Finance Officer.

You would be working to support Council’s Executive Manager of Corporate Services in delivering effective and efficient finance functions.  Council’s Corporate Services Department is a supportive, dynamic and innovative team.

You need to demonstrate experience in areas such as payroll, financial and management reporting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and GST and FBT administration.

This is a great opportunity to secure a fast-paced role within a supportive and friendly team.  The key focus of this role is completing balance sheet reconciliations within specified deadlines.  This will include working closely with your team and relevant internal/external stakeholders to proactively identify and investigate any anomalies.  You will also be ensuring month and year end processing and any required audit documentation are completed to a high standard and in accordance with internal controls.

High attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to provide high-level customer service to both internal and external clients is necessary.
