Job Overview

DKT Rural Agencies is a family owned business with two branches – Cunderdin and Kellerberrin.  We specialise in agricultural and hardware retail products and advice.

We have a variety of customers including Farmers and Trade Customers.

We are currently offering a great opportunity for a sales focused person to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Owners the focus of your role will be to :

-Develop strong customer relationships

-Provide product advice to customers

-Coordinate merchandising practices, stock control and store merchandising

-Assist with animal health and seed sales and stock control

– Respond to and process enquiries, with conversion to sales

-Co-ordinate and provide deliveries

– Some on road sales

About You

You must demonstrate a commitment towards a high standard of customer services as well as a positive approach.  Ideally you will have had exposure to or an interest in farming and agriculture with previous success in a sales or customer service role.  You will have a strong attention to detail and demonstrate experience undertaking general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting and despatching of goods.  A current drivers license is essential and HR license highly desirable.

The position will include some travel between branches as well as working one weekend a month.
