Job Overview
To be considered for this job at our growing company, you must demonstrate the following:
- An ability to communicate effectively and politely with clients, whilst also ensuring firmness when needed.
- A sense of design and a passion for assisting clients without being too forward/pushy.
- A knowledge of the preparation of building contracts and variations.
- The ability to understand and read plans.
- Experience and attention to detail in finalising addenda’s.
- Experience in dealing with shires/councils and submitting building permits, insurance, and service connection applications.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to be able to cost changes, supply clients with pricing on products that are out of standard ranges.
- Ability to design cabinetry and obtain quotes on services/products.
- Ability to work under pressure and work as a team.
- Knowledge of building and construction products and different levels of finishes in building (ie. plumbing fixtures, cabinets etc.).
Ideally, we would like to see:
- Some design qualifications (Interior Design preferably).
- An efficient person with good time management skills.
- 2-3 years of experience in Pre-Start Selections & Client Admin.
