Job Description

The role will require you to assist individuals to achieve their goals in their NDIS plan which may include but not be limited to social and community participation, independence building, personal care, domestic tasks, and any requirements of the customers as per their individual plan.
We are currently recruiting for the  the Merredin and surrounding areas.

Skills and Qualifications

NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Clearance
Working with Children Check

Current WA Drivers licence if Preferable

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated understanding of NDIS practice standards and the NDIS code of conduct
Demonstrated capability in providing direct support to participants through assisting, supporting, coaching, mentoring and training in the area of lifestyle skills
Provision of a creative, flexible, person centred approach
Preparedness to share ideas and promote discussion of customer needs and solutions
Commitment to work under direction and within legislative frameworks and organisational policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to liaise with key stakeholders
Ability to establish and work collaboratively within a team environment
Demonstrated commitment to working within an ethical service focussed environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
Strong organisational skills that facilitate prioritisation, meeting deadlines and multi-tasking
Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills that embrace a diverse range of stakeholder interests
Strong negotiation skills
Current driver’s licence
Commitment to continuing development
