Job Description
We are seeking two Community Engagement Managers (Part-Time) to assist in the exploration of wind and solar farm development opportunities in the:
- southern wheatbelt region of WA; and
- northern wheat belt / mid-west region of WA.
This role would suit some living in on a farm or regional town, with an interest in renewable energy and seeking flexible, part-time work arrangement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Past experience in similar role (Community Consultation / Landcare / Rural Sales / Project Investigations / Environmental Studies or similar)
- Understanding of local farming issues
- Strong interest in renewable energy
- C class diverse licence and own vehicle
Job Requirements
- Establish contact with farmers around project investigation areas
- Delivery of information material to farmers (letters, brochures, telephone and face-to-face conversations)
- Arrange meetings with farmers
- Record feedback from farmers
Terms
- Part time – Contract
- Flexible 1-2 days per weeks
- Rate $50 per hour
