About Us
Petchell Mechanical is a fast-growing mechanical business in the Wheatbelt town of Wyalkatchem. Owned and operated by Steven and Christy Petchell.
Petchell Mechanical started in 2014 out of a small truck and is now run out of a large workshop in the centre of town, with three field service vehicles.
Our business currently comprises of three qualified Mechanics, one Apprentice, and an Office Administrator. We are considered a ‘One Stop Shop’ by many in our community, offering a wide range of parts and accessories that we have endeavoured to source locally, from other small businesses.
We recently became a Service Agent for Croplands. Completing Pre-delivery checks, maintenance and warranty on RoGators.
Petchell Mechanical is a licensed repairer and we service Wyalkatchem and surrounding towns.

Steven won the Wheatbelt Business Network’s Young Entrepreneur Award in 2018. Petchell Mechanical have been Finalists in the Wheatbelt Business Network’s Awards in 2018 and 2020, and the Motor Trade Associations Awards in 2019.
