From humble beginnings in a converted farm shed, over 30 years ago, Gilmac Pty Ltd has become the premier exporter of Australian hay and straw to the dairy and beef industries across East Asia, including Japan and South Korea.
Gilmac leads the market and currently accounts for more than one quarter of Australian hay and straw exports.
Gilmac also operate a successful pellet fodder operation supplying feed pellets to domestic and export livestock. Gilmac have considerable farming operations breeding Aberdeen Angus cattle, beef feedlotting and growing cereal hay and grain. As a Western Australian company, Gilmac has expanded its operations interstate across Australia in order to meet the demands of competing in a global market and ensure continuity of supply.
